Visits to your Pet
Unless your pet has just had surgery, we permit short visits. You may visit for up to 30 minutes between 10 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. daily. To arrange a visit, please call (607) 257-3650 and speak with your veterinarian. We advise against visits within 12 hours of a surgical procedure. This is a critical period of rest and recovery and pati ents must be kept as quiet as possible.Progress Reports
We ask you to call our office daily to check on your hospitalized pet. Your veterinarian will let you know the best time to call. In general, we give progress reports between 10:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.Emergency Policies
All patients are seen on a triage basis which means that the most seriously sick pets are seen first.
All clients will be charged for the initial examination with the emergency doctor. After the initial exam, the doctor will provide a written estimate for any treatments and/or diagnostics he or she recommends.
Emergency consultation with a board-certified surgeon and/or board-certified radiologist will incur an additional fee.
Payment must be made when services are rendered.
We accept cash, check (with social security number and valid ID), Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and CareCredit*.
A deposit is required for all hospitalized patients. The balance must be paid before the pet goes home.
We are forbidden by law to dispense or prescribe medication without doing a physical examination.
We do not make appointments but request that clients call before arriving at the clinic and give an estimated time of arrival.
